SMACITE project at BASSCOM Autumn Retreat

SMACITE project was presented for the first time to the Bulgarian ICT ecosystem during the BASSCOM Autumn Retreat that took place on October 7-9, 2022 in Varna, Bulgaria. The event was a joint initiative of BASSCOM and ICT Cluster - Varna. More than 45 high-level representatives of leading Bulgarian software companies and BASSCOM associate members, among them universities, non-governmental organisations, centres for vocational training, venture capital funds, etc., attended the meeting.

The participants were introduced to the main and specific objectives of the SMACITE Project, planned activities and expected results. Representatives of the ICT community expressed their interest and strong support for the project, as well as their willingness to participate in its activities.

Mr. Ivan Portnih - the mayor of Varna was a special guest at the event.
