Politeknika Ikastegia Txorierri is an educational provider located in the Spanish Basque Region. Integrated as a cooperative within the MONDRAGON Corporation, Txorierri was founded in 1979 with the commitment to provide its socio-economic environment with an educational offer of the highest quality covering the Baccalaureate and Vocational Training levels (EQF levels 4&5). We provide a dual offer, which facilitates access to both university studies and the world of work. All of this is managed under the formula of an Integral Cooperative, which allows the participation as partners of the town councils and companies of the region, the families, the students and the workers of the Centre.
Each year the school provides education for over 400 full time students and 1000+ adult part time learners. Txorierri focuses on serving local Industry and is committed to the quality integral lifelong learning of its students. Evaluation is used as part of our ongoing Quality Improvement Plan. The school provides High school education in Science and Technology and VET courses on Environmental Control & Education, Telecommunications and Information Technology, Robotics, Sales and Commercial Management, Machining, Mechanical Design and Mechanical Production.
Txorierri counts with a Career Guidance department that provides our students with educational and professional support. We are also an authorized Employment Agency.
Txorierri has a strong embedded QUALITY culture. based on the EQFM Quality Model. We are also ISO9001 and ISO 14001 certified.
