
SMACITE Virtual Worlds - Immersive 3D Training Environments
As part of its innovative approach to skills development, the SMACITE project has developed a series of immersive Virtual Worlds designed to support training in soft, entrepreneurship, and green skills. These interactive 3D environments provide an engaging alternative to conventional e-learning, enabling real-time, experiential learning in simulated scenarios.
Developed using the Unity platform, the Virtual Worlds offer an advanced training experience that incorporates real-time voice interaction, dynamic avatars, and integrated access to session-specific materials.
The Virtual Worlds platform consists of two key components:

Training Environments
Three dedicated Virtual Worlds have been developed, each aligned with a specific skills area:

Soft Skills Training: Set in a virtual jungle environment, this world supports the development of interpersonal communication, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Entrepreneurship Skills Training: Hosted in a modern urban setting, this environment is designed to facilitate entrepreneurial thinking, business planning, innovation, and technology integration.

Access and Usage
To join a session in the Virtual Worlds environment:
